Parents' Association

Dear Schechter Families,

We would like to welcome you to Solomon Schechter Day School of Nassau County and High School of Long Island.  We are excited about what promises to be a year filled with special events and programs for our K-12 school.  The PA enhances the life of the school throughout ALL grades at Schechter - like Family Math Day at the Elementary School, the Freedom Seder at the Middle School, and sponsoring various social events at the High School.  We add community support as well as community fun by providing social gatherings, educational programs, and holiday treats to name a few.

These events can only happen with your support. PA dues are a major source of funds which help pay for these and many other programs. Together with the various other fundraisers undertaken by the PA, your $54 dues boost the quality of life at Schechter.  While membership in the PA is voluntary, we seek participation from ALL Schechter families as the PA enhances the education experience for ALL Schechter students.

We look forward to a great school year with many fun and exciting programs for both students and parents and invite you to get involved in YOUR Parent Association (we are always looking for new ideas and for parent participation).
