Lunch Menus

Dear Schechter Parents/Guardians,

As we are approaching the beginning of the 2nd Cycle of the Lunch Program, attached please find the new lunch menu. We are confident that your child will enjoy the variety and quality of the foods.

Please select the meals that your child would like to have and send in the attached form along with your payment by December 1, 2011 to our Jericho Campus, attention: Julia Hardy.

2nd Cycle: December 12, 2011 – March 16, 2012

Menus are planned to include varied choices. Our caterer has included several new items and we continue to search for alternative healthful ideas to add to our menu.

For your convenience, below please find the menu rotation cycle.

Elementary Lunch Program At Jericho

The following is the two-week rotation menu that will be available from Monday, December 12, 2011 to Friday, March 16, 2012.
The charge for each "day" is $33.00 for the five-month program, payable in advance. It is $330.00 for all 10 days The Alternative to the lunch listed is a bagel with butter/margarine/cream cheese and a beverage at a cost of $2.50. A full bagel lunch, including sides and beverage is charged same as entree. Our caterer will offer on a trial basis, an alternative spread such as sunflower seed butter. Please understand that figures are generalized and that no refunds are available due to school closings, student absences, trips, and the like. Changes will not be made.

Upper School Lunch Program At Williston Park

1st Period December 12, 2011 - March 16, 2012
The charge for each "day" is $33.75, payable in advance. It is $337.50 if you would like your child to have lunch every day in this period. Please understand that figures are generalized and that no refunds are available due to school closings, student absences, trips, and the like.

Please download and print out the Middle/High School Lunch Form (PDF) and circle the days that you would like your child to participate and send it with your check to the address printed at the bottom. You may also purchase a meal with cash payable to the cashier, however please note that the caterer prepares a finite number of meals for students who have prepaid for lunch for a given day.
