Elementary School Procedures (Grades K-5)

A completed application to Solomon Schechter Day School of Nassau County includes:

1. Admissions Application for Grades k-5, completed and signed by parent(s) or guardian(s).
2. Confidential Information form, (Kindergarten) or (Grades 1-5), signed by parent(s) and given to child's current teacher to complete.
3. Tell Us About Your Child form
4. Release of Records form, signed by parent(s) or guardian(s).
5. A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate
6. Non-refundable application fee of $100

Transportation

All Nassau and Suffolk students should apply to their local school district for transportation. Your district is required to transport students to any school of your choice within a 15 mile radius of your home. You must request the transportation prior to April 1st the year preceding enrollment and every year thereafter. You may always withdraw the application, you cannot initiate it after April 1st.
